In addition to businesses and organizations who sponsor Ag in the Classroom financially or in-kind, we are grateful to the persons, organizations, and businesses who sit on our Advisory Committees. These committees meet on a quarterly basis to develop strategies and plans that will ensure the long range viability and vision for El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom in best supporting El Dorado county’s students, schools, farms, our partners, and our community at large.
Marketing and Communications Advisory Committee
Goal: Develop and implement strategies that will attract and retain supporters for the organization. Strategies include, but are not limited to branding, tag lines, advertising, social media, communications, community interest, and promoting positive public relations by fostering long-term relationships within the community.

Education Business Advisory Committee
Goal: Analyze and enhance current educational strategies and develop and recommend new programs. The evaluation shall include assessing community needs, assessing financial viability, and capacity to lead the program.

Development Advisory Committee
Goal: Develop and implement strategies that will help in fund development efforts for the organization. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: Fundraisers, Sponsorships, Grants, & Memberships
