Individual Donor
As a grassroots, charitable (TaxID: 68-0305421) nonprofit organization, El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom’s ag education programs are made possible by the generosity of our donors. You can help children experience the wonder of soil, water, plants, and animals that contribute to the diverse agriculture in our community and develop an appreciation for the bounty of natural resources that stretch from the peaks of the Sierras to the vineyards and orchards of the foothills.
Donate Online:
Teaching a growing generation by providing high quality educational programs to increase awareness of the importance of agriculture in our lives.
Immediate and specific needs that your donation will support include:
- $25 - Send a Child to Farm Day, an all-day interactive event where students learn about agriculture in context of local farms, ranches, and forests from content experts.
- $50 - Send a Child to the Farm, through Fields of Learning Program, three educational field trips to visit a farm during the different growing seasons of the school year, giving the student hands-on experiential learning focused on local agriculture and its role in their community.
- $100 - Support a Teacher by giving them access to the new standards-based science curriculum and accompanying kits to bring locally-based learning right to the classroom or sending them to a workshop.
Corporate Matching

In addition many local employers (Intel: Current Employees, Intel: Retired Employees, Well Fargo, Blue Shield) have matching gifting opportunities and your consideration of possibly doubling your contribution through those methods would be greatly appreciated.
